thoughts on a topic i wasn't intending on thinking about

"We're trying to remind ourselves that the demons who took you away from us were always part of the deal. After all, it was the way you sang about those demons that made everyone fall in love with you in the first place. You fearlessly put them on display, and in doing so, brought us together and taught us to be more human. You had the biggest heart, and managed to wear it on your sleeve."
/members of Linkin Park about Chester Bennington

it's a topic with too many angles and particulars and emotions connected to it to ever figure out (and i don't really mean the 'why' questions here)

'the thrill of human connection' (also very strongly in theatre) – i feel and i'm hoping that has a lot of preventative power, but i'm of course aware it can be far from enough and

and i'm not sure what can finish that sentence
